After graduating with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Manchester, I trained as an accountant and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Promoted to partner at the firm in 2000, I am a general practitioner advising and assisting entrepreneurial owner managed businesses on audit and assurance, tax and other commercial matters.
I am also currently the firm’s Ethics Partner and the London liaison with our Gibraltar office. My previous roles in the firm have included Graduate Recruitment and Training Partner and a Director of one of our joint venture businesses.
Outside of Simmons Gainsford I also spent two years on the London Regional Leadership Group of Mosaic, a mentoring initiative of the Prince’s Trust. I joined Bloomsbury Institute Limited as a Non-Executive Director in July 2021.
